APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS

All applicants must follow the following rules and conditions. Iranian American Relief Fund (from now on referred to as  The Chapter)  will abide by this set of rules and conditions when evaluating the eligibility of the application.

  • All donation receivers will remain anonymous.
  • The Chapter will provide assistance to Iranian Americans in Oklahoma who are in need of shelter.
  • The Chapter will provide assistance to Iranian Americans in Oklahoma who have fallen ill and are in need of shelter.
  • The Chapter will provide assistance to Iranian Americans in Oklahoma who has lost everything through no fault of their own.
  • The Chapter will provide burial assistance to Iranian American families in Oklahoma.
  • The Chapter will provide some limited financial assistance to Iranian Americans in Oklahoma.
  • The Chapter will provide assistance to Iranian-American students with scholarship/education needs.
  • The Chapter cannot provide assistance to matters regarding bankruptcy.
  • The Chapter cannot provide any assistance or be involved regarding matters of divorce or other marital affairs.
  • The Chapter cannot provide assistance regarding matters that involve drugs and/or alcohol.
  • The Chapter cannot provide assistance regarding matters that involve religion and/or politics.
  • The Chapter will thoroughly investigate all applications to verify the authenticity of the need. Every application must be approved by no less than 3 members of the Board of Trustees.
  • The approval process is not anonymous, each member’s decision will be documented.
  • If an application is approved by the Board of Trustees, it will be submitted to the board members of The Chapter. They will have 48 hours to approve or deny the application. If funding is requested, it must also be made available to the applicant within this time frame.
